Install the small spacer and tighten the screw.

Adjustment according to the desired support angle.,This umbrella holder is too heavy (makes the cart top heavy), it’s also cheap plastic…but it’s very effective, fully adjustable, and it works fine. Whether or not it lasts more than one season remains to be seen. They are all pretty much the same…China freight! Par for the course!,While it appears to be as sturdy as you can get… the second day my wife used it on her golf cart, it snapped at the joint when her umbrella caught on a tree branch. Her fault, but still it unexpectedly broke.It’s so useful, that I reordered another, and she hasn’t had any problems since.I have tried others, but they do not hold umbrellas steady in any kind of breeze… so this is definitely the best choice.,I liked that this umbrella holder could tilt at different angles. Unfortunately they don’t hold up. I’ve purchased 2 in the past 10 months and both of them have become unusable in different ways. The first one the part that pushes up against the umbrella to hold it in the cup broke. The second one the teeth stripped in one of the articulating parts. Even with it tightened to the greatest extent possible, the plastic pieces still allow movement when the golf cart is in motion which causes the teeth the rub against each other and wear down so they quit functioning.I will be looking for a different brand as I walk 18 holes of golf weekly in Hawaii and need the protection from the sun.,Priced about right. The one suggestion would be to have the lower connecting arm a little longer to allow more range of use. As it is, the range is difficult to bend 90 degrees with out interfering with upper arm. Over all a good product.,Goog,On my golf cart,Very difficult to tighten the devise on my cart handle,It works, held a pretty big umbrella in very low wind above me and my disc golf cart. It’s just almost a two person job to attach! I mean, it took my like 15 min by myself to attach it and tighten it on securely with the pocket knife screwdriver I had. Trying to spend the wing nut and hold the bolt from turning with the screwdriver while also pressing down the clamp so that the other side doesn’t get warped it’s kind of a pain hence these only three star. And high wind I’m not so sure I’d want to use it.
