. Includes (1) Set of Starer/Generator Brushes . Universal Fit on Golf Carts that have the Advanced or AMD Motor with Starter/Generator . Fits EZGO or Club Car models with above listed starter . The brushes in a starter motor transfer the battery’s current to the segments on the commutator. This allows the brushes to transmit current to the commutator and reverse it as the commutator rotates . As a general rule, if either brush has worn to about a quarter inch long, it is time to replace it. If the carbon (a brush is essentially a carbon block with a metal spring tail) shows any signs of breakage, crumbling, or burning, the brush needs replacing . Installation instructions are NOT included . Replaces OEM number: for Club Car – 1033473-01, & for EZGO – 612038 .
