If you have 8 volt batteries (select your cart above), a voltage reducer will not be needed. While other manufacturers, such as Yamaha, have 8-volt batteries that require a voltage reducer, this particular Club Car Precedent light kit made by is unique in that it is designed to run off a 48V system. The reducer is in the harness itself. Follow the instructions on plugging the light kit into your 48V system and you’ll be a nightrider in no time!
PLEASE be sure to choose the correct year (2004 thru 2008.5 vs. 2008.5+) correct light type (LIGHT BULBS vs. LEDs), and the correct battery type for 2008.5+ carts (8V batteries vs. 12V batteries).
