This kit is specifically designed to work with NON-LIFTED electric EZGO golf carts or electrics with EZGO FACTORY 4: lift kit.
PLEASE NOTE: The 48-volt electric RXV models introduced in 2008 do not have any brake cables or out-board drum brakes. The motor brake is bolted onto the driver side of the motor proper and does not use any brakes cables at all.
If you have a lifted cart with a 6″ lift or higher, you will need to purchase the E-Z-GO Lifted 1982-Up Electric Rear Disc Brake Kit, which features special extensions for your brake cables to compensate for the lifted height.
