Tell you how to replace golf cart bushing

  1. Accessing the Bushings:
    • Depending on the location of the bushings, you may need to remove certain components to access them. This could include removing wheels, control arms, or other parts that are obstructing access.
  2. Removing Old Bushings:
    • Use appropriate tools to remove the old bushings. This might involve pressing or hammering them out. If you’re using a hammer or mallet, be sure to use a rubber mallet to avoid damaging the surrounding components.
  3. Cleaning and Lubricating:
    • Clean the areas where the old bushings were installed to ensure a clean surface for the new bushings.
    • Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the inside of the bushing holes and the outside of the new bushings. This will help with installation and reduce friction.
  4. Installing New Bushings:
    • Carefully insert the new bushings into their respective holes. You might be able to press them in by hand, but if they’re tight, you can use a bushing installation tool or a socket that matches the bushing diameter to help press them in evenly.
  5. Securing Components:
    • Reattach any components you removed to access the bushings. Make sure all fasteners are tightened to the manufacturer’s specifications.
  6. Lowering the Cart:
    • Carefully lower the golf cart off the jack stands.
