1. Start by removing the bolts attaching the air filter housing and carburetor to the engine block. Remove the air filter housing, carburetor, and any related parts such as gaskets, clips, and seals.

2. Inspect the carburetor for any signs of damage or cracks. Make sure the fuel line is free from clogs and is not leaking any fuel.

3. Install the new carburetor onto the engine. Reattach the air filter housing. Make sure that all bolts and nuts are tightened securely.

4. Connect the spark plug wires to the distributor cap using the proper tools.

5. Attach the fuel line to the carburetor and make sure it is not leaking. Connect the fuel filter to the fuel line and check for leaks.

6. Connect the choke cable to the linkages on the carburetor. Make sure all connections are secured tightly.

7. Test the engine and adjust the idle speed with the throttle linkage.

8. Test the throttle position sensor to make sure it is functioning properly.
