1. Disconnect the battery from the golf cart. This will prevent any electrical shock from occurring when working with the wiring.

2. Remove the existing throttle switch from the golf cart. Depending on the model, this may require unscrewing screws or undoing clips.

3. Connect the new throttle switch in place of the old one. Make sure the connections are secure and the wires are properly connected.

4. Attach the wires to the appropriate terminals on the switch.

5. Secure the throttle switch in place with screws or clips.

6. Reattach the battery to the golf cart and test the switch. The golf cart should start and run normally.

7. If the golf cart does not start or runs erratically, check the connection of the wires and the throttle switch. If the connections are secure, replace the switch.
