1. Park the golf cart on a flat, level surface and make sure the engine is cool.
2. Remove the carburetor cover and the air filter.
3. Locate the carburetor and disconnect the fuel line.
4. Unscrew and remove the float bowl.
5. Inside the float bowl, you will find the float valve, which is a small, metal cylinder with a spring attached.
6. Adjust the float valve by turning the adjusting screw clockwise to raise it, or counterclockwise to lower it.
7. Reinstall the float bowl and reconnect the fuel line.
8. Start the golf cart and let it idle for a few minutes to make sure the adjustments are correct.
9. Adjust the idle speed, if necessary, by turning the idle speed screw.
10. Replace the air filter, and the carburetor cover.
